How do I activate my eSIM?
Before travelling: install your eSIM. To avoid last-minute complications, we recommend installing it right after you have purchased it. All you need is the QR code that we sent you by email or follow the instructions to activate it manually. That way, everything will be ready before you arrive at your destination.
During the flight or when you arrive: set up your mobile in a few simple steps, depending on your device:
On an iPhone (iOS):
- Go to Settings > Mobile Data and check that the eSIM is active.
- Select your eSIM from eSimFLAG as the data line.
- Under Options, enable data roaming.
- Disable data roaming on your regular line.
On an Android (example of a Samsung):
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager and make sure your eSIM is active
- Under Mobile Data, select your eSIM from eSimFLAG
- Under Mobile Networks, enable data roaming.
- Disable data roaming on your regular line.
What if the eSIM doesn't activate?
If your plan has not been activated 10 minutes after arriving at your destination and you do not have an internet connection, we recommend following these steps:
- Restart your mobile
- Make sure you have updated to the latest operating system on your mobile device
- If you still can't get connected, your mobile phone may not automatically detect the APN that connects to the network. Here's how to do it easily and quickly:
- Go to Settings and select 'Connections'
- In this menu, select 'Mobile Networks'
- Next, select 'Access point names'
- Click the '+' symbol to add a new access point
- On this screen, select the 'Name' and 'APN' fields and replace them with the following data:
- Name: eSimFLAG
- APN: eSimFLAG

How do I know if my eSIM has been activated?
We'll send you a free text message the first time you connect, confirming that your plan is up and running.
You'll also receive another free text message when you have 24 hours left on your plan.
